Every day, every week, every month brings in a new adventure.

These passing days never come back. These are a pack of cards created by designers for the year of 2016. Each card is a special dedication to what the new month brings forth.

They’re eating away at everything, destroying what’s not theirs. Incapable of a conscience, they kill needlessly and create havoc. Following leaders blinded by endless greed, they feed corrupt desires and make them their own. And spread like the plaque leaving nothing pure.

We’re building structures furthering the gap from those that have roamed the soil for as long as we have. The most intelligent animals - a self-proclaimed title putting us on a pedestal to separate us from what’s around. Normalizing the unnatural, rupturing the way of the world.

So the question is raised, who are the real pests?

Knowledge is power, only when it is ever-evolving. Evolving through genes, through veins, through the strides of time & that of space. The goddess of knowledge believes that every space has its own interpretation of the same set of knowledge. As knowledge flows freely through the maze of different layers of the physical world, it transcends into newer forms.

The goddess Saraswati_सरस्वती plays the tune of life, submerged into the holy pool of birth_amrit-kund, while her vahana the swan_sarwahansa, takes a dive to reach out to have a glimpse of the new creation. Every drop is precious, every note is valuable, every tempo is meaningful and every pitch is important.

Saraswati plays the Symphony of Sonar, it radiates from the strings of the DaiviyeVeena and smoothly pierces through the genes of the aquatic life, through the very conscience and physicality of that world, resulting in a new string of change or evolution. She inspires a new change, with the knowledge of "creating the creator", like a womb just like an ecosystem. The ecosystem that eventually gives birth to newness.

The newness that brings in the change that is needed.

Let’s travel to a time where majesties of nature roam free. Where the pride of the Asiatic Lion rests high. His roar resounding through the forests to oceans where the mighty Gray Whale weaves towards cooler waters to feed.

The grasslands looming with countless creatures coexisting in cyclic harmony. Where flocks of Gazelles feed with Cheetah cubs playing in the same fields. The prey at ease with predators. Because such is the way of nature – a survival devoid of greed.

Let’s go back to canopies abundant with unending hues, flowers blooming towards the sun, creepers with an evolution of leaves climbing onto thickset branches. Enough life in their roots for green moss and multitudes of mushrooming fungi, with a beauty our civilized senses do not make sense of.

Let’s not go hunting for criminal humanity, but demand for gifts of the Earth. Preserve their memory and carry on their legacy, and strive to keep it Alive.

We need our planet as much as the planet needs us. The diversity of life amongst different species is deteriorating. The over-exploitation of resources is destructive to our biotic environments, and we need to ensure that we’re taking radical steps in order to preserve our natural heritage.

Taking this thought forward, we designed a series of notebooks for Dalum. The illustrations on the notebooks are composed of a single continuing line, a visual cue taken from idea of regeneration.

Atom is everything and everything is Atom. The smallest particle represents the universe and has all the constituents of all that existed in one atom. This duality is the very essence of our existence. The Nature of Duality exists in the Duality of Nature

Nataraj_नटराज- the divine dance of destruction is also the act of creation, for the next cycle, and the cycle that repeats itself, over and over again. Nataraja is a verse and every verse has its version and interpretations.

The balance between the Trishul (the end) and the Damroo (the beginning) on the other side with the act of creation of the atom balanced these two forces. The divine dance is the celebration of the end of one and the beginning of a new time or Just another cycle celebrating all, such events happening parallelly in numerous times in the numerous levels of the labyrinth of the cosmos.

These freeform ink annotations lead us from one captivating visual depiction to the other, we like to call them expressions in ink more than experiments.

Mother Nature | सृष्टि, while composing the song of The Cosmos, using the symphony of Matter & Energy. The matter that composes the mass of all living beings and Energies that create their very soul.

It arises from the core of the golden lotus, the form that defines the very essence of the living, and lets Mother Nature adapt the power of butterfly, the power of seeing life through and through like a timeline. Butterfly which by the virtue of Nature’s design transcends through 4 different stages, in a most overt manner.

Life swirls in between the swirling mystic warp of fish and the other side balanced by the first celestial leaves. The cosmos is born...again. Thousands of galaxies, wrapped around sharing something in common that connects them, and connect every living being in the entire cosmos.

Time is that string, passing through everything that is there, was and will be and undefining the pattern that defines the chaos that is the ultimate balance and is called "Nature"

Mother Nature, is creating the music again and defining it one more time, as she has done millions of times before and might do again after.

The main aim was to create playing card decks for Royal Enfield. The  concept revolved around the different dynasties and eras and the characters for each suite are further created.

Spades  is inspired from Rajput period, Clubs from Maratha, Hearts from Mughal and Diamonds from British. Each character is researched upon extensively in terms of the accessories. It was imperative to keep the illustrated style cohesive and still have variations in terms of the eras.

The design for the packaging was inspired from the vintage design of matchboxes from the 50′s. The packaging brings about a collaboration of all dynasties and how they come together as one unit.

Each illustration of the bike is taken into consideration in regard to the dynasty, the style , the kind of machinery involved. When the first Royal Enfield motorcycle rolled out in 1901, it was the beginning of an endearing story that would turn into a legend by the turn of the century. Aptly christened - Made Like a Gun - the phrase epitomize the simple, resilient and dependable machines that have stood the test of time and terrain.

It continues to be one of the key inspirations for everything that Royal Enfield builds.

The deep sea Anglerfish has no reason to be happy but it has no idea what else to be.

Turned bare walls into a space of our own with guiding light and some glow-in-the-dark accents.Applied onto the wall via grid and acrylic paints, placed keeping in mind the light-bulb which was fixed on the wall as we found it.
